After the Eiffel Tower we walked towards Montparnasse. We stopped along the way for our second continental breakfast of the day…chocolate croissants and a big bowl of hot chocolate.
These are some interesting courtyards we peered into. Sometimes the doors were open;sometimes they were closed.
After so many months of different shades of brown and grey in Toronto, these plants were so fresh and green.

The statue is of the lovers Acis and Galatea about to be ambushed by the jealous cyclops Polyphemus.
